Angela & Brandon | Blue and White Wedding Florals at the Four Seasons Austin
August in Austin still runs hot, but the light shifts just enough to feel like something is changing. The evenings are just starting to hint at something cooler, and there's this feeling in the air like the season is savoring itself before it goes. Angela and Brandon's wedding at the Four Seasons Austin felt exactly like that, unhurried, warm, and so genuinely them.

So much of what made this day feel seamless came down to the planning behind it. Erin at Bread and Butter Events Co. is just the best to work with. She's thoughtful, organized, and she really gets it when it comes to letting each vendor do their thing while still holding the whole vision together. By the time wedding day arrived, everything was in place and we could all just focus on the couple. That's the dream, and Erin makes it happen.
Ceremony Florals | Flower Cloud Pillar Installations
Angela and Brandon said their vows beneath two towering pillar installations, each one topped with what I describe as a flower cloud, full, mounded, and spilling over in the most lush way. White blooms, soft greens, layered textures. They were architectural in scale but felt organic and alive, which is always the balance I'm chasing.
There's something about that moment, guests seated, ceremony space quiet, a couple standing underneath something that beautiful, that just gets me every time. I was so happy with how they turned out.
Reception Florals | Hydrangea Arrangements on Caterpillar Tables

The reception was set on long caterpillar tables, which are honestly one of my favorite ways to do a dinner. There's something about that winding layout that makes a room feel like one big, ongoing conversation.
For the wedding florals, we kept everything low and lush, arrangements that felt abundant without ever blocking anyone's view across the table. Hydrangeas were the heart of it all. Their big, soft heads in shades of blue, white, and the faintest green layered beautifully with trailing foliage and smaller blooms tucked throughout. We wanted the whole thing to feel like an intimate dinner, just with the most beautiful flowers you've ever eaten next to. Guests were surrounded by color and texture, and it created this really intimate, warm energy in the room that I loved.
The Palette | Blue, Green, and White Wedding Flowers

This palette was such a good fit for a late August wedding in Austin. Blue and white have that timeless quality, but the green kept it feeling fresh and but not too polished. The hydrangeas did a lot of heavy lifting here because they carry all three tones naturally, which meant the arrangements had this really cohesive, almost effortless feel.
It's one of those palettes that photographs beautifully and looks even better in person. Angela had great taste.
Angela and Brandon, thank you for trusting me with your day. Watching it all come together, knowing how much care went into every detail, was such a full-circle moment. I hope you're somewhere wonderful right now. Wishing you every happiness.
